At PrecisionLender, we strive to consistently improve our network to ensure high availability of service. While we hope these improvements don’t impact your ability to access PrecisionLender, we will be changing the public IP address of the main application website.
- Old IP Address: 18.104.22.168
- New IP Address: We recommend that our clients do not white-list PrecisionLender by IP address, but if you require our new address in advance of the change, please submit a help desk ticket and we will send it to you as soon as it is available.
When is this change taking effect?
Production instances will be updated on Thursday, December 7, 2017 around 5 PM Eastern time.
Will you be affected by this change?
This change should not affect the vast majority of PrecisionLender users.
You may be affected if, in order for your users to access PrecisionLender, your IT department was required to set up your corporate firewall/proxy to white-list the IP address of our server. Please note that this is not done within PrecisionLender, but in your corporate IT network.
This same logic also applies to our Relationship Awareness customers where their IT departments had to create similar settings to allow PLI tool to connect to PrecisionLender and upload weekly core relationship data.
What action do I need to take?
If your IT department has set up your corporate network settings to allow access to PrecisionLender by IP address white-listing, you will need to update your corporate network settings to allow access to PrecisionLender.
What if I we don't update our IP address white-lists?
If you do not update your corporate network settings, your users (and your PLI data upload tool) may not be able to reach the PrecisionLender application starting on Thursday, December 7, 2017.
